Car Hire in Porto

Many thanks for finding us a great car hire in Porto for our recent weekend holiday ‘city break’! I must give credit where credit is due – the three step booking procedure was quick and easy and I was impressed with the very competitive quote I obtained at just over £15 per day. There was no problem in picking up the car hire in Porto on our arrival at the airport and everything went very smoothly.

We also booked our hotel in Porto using your hotel search function and once again the rate we paid was very good. We decided to stay at the Vila Gale Hotel which we all thought was more like a five star hotel than a four star – very smart and modern. Initially we had reservations about the distance to the town centre but once we established the best route into Porto we realised it was probably only a ten minute walk. Once again the room rate was very competitive and I will certainly use your website search facility again.

We have taken so many photos of this picturesque holiday destination in Portugal and I would definitely recommend taking a cruise up the Duoro river which was possibly the highlight of our holiday to Porto. After the river cruise we sampled some great Port wines – I particularly liked the Sandeman cellars but take care of the uneven, stepped pavement outside as my wife took a tumble on the way out!
